Helical Stair: with A Parallel Architects & Drophouse Design

A simple yet elegant project, the Helical Stair was a huge technical challenge. The project involved a high degree of custom form-finding and extremely tight tolerances, as the stair needed to fit perfectly into the allocated space to avoid conflicts with other architectural elements. As is often the case, simplicity of form is only achievable with a high degree of care and attention.
